"Liberty must at all hazards be supported.
We have a right to it, derived from our Maker.
But if we had not, our fathers have earned and bought it for us,
at the expense of their ease, their estates, their pleasure,
and their blood." (John Adams, 1765)

The Patriot Foundation Trust is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable trust supporting Essential Liberty, the restoration of constitutional limits on government and the judiciary, and the promotion of free enterprise, national defense and traditional American values. Our objective is to restore the Principles of Liberty enshrined by our Founders in our Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution.

"A Constitution of Government once changed from freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever." (John Adams, 1775)

The Trust promotes Liberty by devoting its resources exclusively for charitable, religious, scientific, literary and educational purposes, either through its programs and publications, or by way of grants to organizations with similar missions.

The Trust's primary activity is to promote and sustain the Principles of Essential Liberty by:

a) Providing educational resources supporting those Principles

b) Funding educational forums and speakers for the purpose of promoting Essential Liberty in academic and other venues

c) Supporting limited scholarships to students and institutions committed to the advancement of Essential Liberty

d) Conducting other activities promoting Essential Liberty.

Our major initiative currently is to distribute millions of Essential Liberty Guides across the nation through academic and other venues, with the objective of providing the recipients of those Guides with an outstanding resource for understanding the origins and principles of Liberty.

"What spectacle can be more edifying or more seasonable,
than that of Liberty and Learning, each leaning on the other
for their mutual & surest support?" (James Madison, 1822)

The Patriot Foundation Trust is currently in a campaign to raise $10 million for the publication and distribution of Essential Liberty Guides.

"If a nation expects to be ignorant - and free - in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be." (Thomas Jefferson, 1816)

We invite you to extend the Gift of Liberty to the next generation by supporting Essential Liberty and Rule of Law today.
